Important Documents
Articles of Incorporation
Incorporated in 1985, these were the original documents filed with the Secretary of State’s Office.
Bylaws
Updated in 2005 to show our affiliation with the National Electronic Security Alliance.
The Arkansas Security Alarm Association is involved in other Associations.
NESA
The Arkansas Security Alarm Association is a member of the National Electronic Security Alliance. This group is made up of state associations for the sole benefit of the state. NESA was born in 2005 by six states that had previously belonged to another national association.
A company cannot belong to NESA. Companies belong to their local state association, which can belong to NESA.
FARA
The False Alarm Reduction Association is an association primarily of persons employed by government and public safety agencies in charge of, or working in, False Alarm Reduction Units. FARA also includes alarm companies and vendors interested in reducing the number of false alarms generated by electronic security systems.
The ASAA has been donating to FARA since 2010 to help support public safety agencies and to help promote their annual symposium.
